French Toast with Mestemacher ORGANIC WHEAT WHOLEMEAL TOAST
Working time: 25 minutes
Ingredients for 3 portions:
- 100 ml vegetable drink
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- 9 slices ORGANIC WHEAT WHOLEMEAL TOAST
- 50g vegan butter
- 100g cream cheese alternative
- 3 tbsp. strawberry jam
- strawberries, cut into slices for garnishing
- mint for garnishing
Preparation:
- Put the vegetable drink in a blender with the banana and maple syrup and blend to a banana milk. Place the bread slices in the milk for a few seconds and turn once until they are soaked.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the bread slices one after the other until they are golden brown on both sides.
- Fold the jam into the cream cheese, place in a little bowl and serve with the French toast. Garnish with strawberries and mint.
