Mini Cheeseburger Skewers
serves 4
- 12 slices of Mestemacher Gourmet wholemeal Classic
- 350g minced meat, mixed
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove of garlic, pressed
- 1 egg
- 1 bunch of parsley, chopped
- 2 ½ tablespoon of bread crumbs
- 8 cocktail tomatoes
- ½ cucumber
- 2 slices of Gouda cheese
- salt
- pepper
- toothpicks
- Peel the onion and dice finely.
- Season the minced meat with salt and pepper, thoroughly knead in the pressed clove of garlic, finely chopped parsley, diced onion, egg and bread crumbs.
- Form 12 small meatballs with the meat mixture and fry in a pan on both sides, using a little bit of olive oil. Then set aside to cool down slightly.
- Cut the cucumber and cocktail tomatoes into slices.
- Cut the Gouda slices into triangles.
- Layer 12 round wholemeal bread slices into a tower with alternating cucumber and tomato slices, meatballs and cheese slices.
- Fixate with a toothpick.
