Fresh cheese graves with protein bread and bacon crunch
Ingredients for 4 graves (little bowls)
- 1 pack of Mestemacher protein bread
- 125 grams of diced pork bacon
- 1 onion
- 250 grams of cream cheese
- 1 tsp. paprika powder
- Salt, pepper according to taste
- Small basil leaves for garnishing
Preparation
- Whip the cream cheese and season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
- Dice the onion and three slices of protein bread Fry the bacon in a pan, then add the bread and onion cubes Fry everything together for three minutes while stirring.
- Use half a slice of protein bread for creating the gravestones and briefly toast them in a toaster Put some cream cheese into a piping bag with a fine spout and write the words R.I.P. on the bread slices.
- Divide the cream cheese into little bowls. Sprinkle the bread crunch on top and press the gravestone into the cream cheese. Decorate with basil leaves.
