Fresh cheese graves with protein bread and bacon crunch

Ingredients for 4 graves (little bowls)

  • 1 pack of Mestemacher protein bread
  • 125 grams of diced pork bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 250 grams of cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. paprika powder
  • Salt, pepper according to taste
  • Small basil leaves for garnishing

Preparation

  1. Whip the cream cheese and season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
  2. Dice the onion and three slices of protein bread Fry the bacon in a pan, then add the bread and onion cubes Fry everything together for three minutes while stirring.
  3. Use half a slice of protein bread for creating the gravestones and briefly toast them in a toaster Put some cream cheese into a piping bag with a fine spout and write the words R.I.P. on the bread slices.
  4. Divide the cream cheese into little bowls. Sprinkle the bread crunch on top and press the gravestone into the cream cheese. Decorate with basil leaves.
