Fitness Bread with Blue Cheese and Figs
Ingredients for 2 bread slices (6 pieces):
- 2 slices of Mestemacher Fitness Bread
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of sweet mustard
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 100 g soft cheese with blue mould
- 1 fig
- Cress (e.g. Shiso cress)
- Stir honey and mustard together. Season with salt and pepper.
- In each case, cut the bread slices in 3 pieces, spread them thinly with butter.
- Cut the cheese into about 12 slices, place on the bread slices.
- Cut the fig into six wedges and in each case put one wedge on a slice of bread.
- Garnish with cress and serve with honey-mustard dip.
