Hearty Feta cheese hearts with onion jam
Ingredients
1 pack of Mestemacher Protein Bread
200 grams of cream cheese
200 grams of Feta cheese
Salt, pepper, paprika seasoning according to taste
250 grams of onion
1 tbsp. olive oil
50 grams of sugar
100 ml red wine
Preparation
- Dice the onion and braise it in oil. Add the sugar and deglaze with the wine.
Then allow to simmer for about another 15 minutes. - Finally, season the jam with a little bit of salt.
- Dice the Feta cheese finely and stir it in with the cream cheese.
Season with salt, pepper and paprika. - Use the cookie cutter to cut hearts out of the bread slices and then
spread the creamy cheese onto them. - Add jam onto the cheese and serve.
