Bread praline with feta cheese, semi-dried tomatoes, bacon and fiery pesto
Ingredients
- 2 slices of Mestemacher Fitness Bread
- 150 grams of feta cheese
- 10 dried tomatoes
- 10 slices of breakfast bacon
- 150 grams of semi-dried tomatoes
- 50 grams of parmesan cheese
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 chilli pepper
- A little bit of olive oil
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, top and bottom heat.
- Slice the bread into five equal strips. Cut the feta cheese into strips and place on the bread. Place the dried tomatoes on the cheese. Wrap the bread pralines in bacon.
- Place the pralines on a baking tray with baking paper and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. until the bread and bacon are crispy.
- Meanwhile, place the garlic clove, parmesan and the semi-dried tomatoes in a bowl and blend. Finely chop the chilli pepper without seeds and mix into the other ingredients. Purée finely with a hand blender. If necessary, add some olive oil until the pesto has the desired texture.
- Garnish the bread pralines with pesto and serve warm.
