Fancy Meat Salad
serves 2
- 4 slices of Mestemacher Natural Whole Rye Bread
- 100 g cream cheese
- 150 g bologna-type sausage in slices
- 2 pickled gherkins
- 80 g sour cream
- 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 6 leaves of lettuce
- a little coarse pepper
- Cut the slices of bread into 3 pieces, the sausage into strips.
- Chop the gherkins and the capers.
- Mix the sour cream cream cheese, chopped gherkin, parsley and capers.
- Broil the bread in the oven for 3 minutes, until it is crispy.
- Put the salad leaves on of the bread and dress it with plenty of meat salad.
- Decorate with parsley and some coarse pepper.
Tip: Try baloney instead of the sausage. Also delicious with cream cheese type Swiss cheese!
