Christmas lamb’s lettuce with pomegranate, camembert and wholemeal bread stars

Ingredients

For the salad

  • 4 slices of Mestemacher wholemeal bread
  • A little bit of butter for the pan
  • 200 grams of lamb’s lettuce
  • 150 grams of Camembert
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • 1 handful of pomegranate seeds

For the dressing

  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. of mustard
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • Salt, pepper according to taste

Preparation

  1. Wash the lamb’s lettuce and place on a plate. Cut the Camembert into strips, chop the walnuts coarsely and sprinkle both over the lamb’s lettuce together with the pomegranate seeds.
  2. Use a cookie cutter to cut out small stars from the bread slices. Melt some butter in a pan and fry the bread stars in it.
  3. Mix the ingredients for the dressing in a separate bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Topping the salad with the dressing and the still warm bread stars and serve immediately.
