Christmas lamb’s lettuce with pomegranate, camembert and wholemeal bread stars
Ingredients
For the salad
- 4 slices of Mestemacher wholemeal bread
- A little bit of butter for the pan
- 200 grams of lamb’s lettuce
- 150 grams of Camembert
- 1 handful of walnuts
- 1 handful of pomegranate seeds
For the dressing
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. of balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp. of mustard
- 1 tsp. honey
- Salt, pepper according to taste
Preparation
- Wash the lamb’s lettuce and place on a plate. Cut the Camembert into strips, chop the walnuts coarsely and sprinkle both over the lamb’s lettuce together with the pomegranate seeds.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out small stars from the bread slices. Melt some butter in a pan and fry the bread stars in it.
- Mix the ingredients for the dressing in a separate bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Topping the salad with the dressing and the still warm bread stars and serve immediately.
